Heart Rate Monitors

Review Date: March 5, 2009
Reviewer: MTL, Florida
I always brief the reviews before a purchase, this particular watch is great for the price. It appears to be advertised for a male, but it fits a female wrist nicely, not bulky. Easy to use, easy to follow instructions, perfect for the user that wants heart-rate plus calorie burn. No chest strap, another bonus. It operates by touching the rim of the watch with two fingers. Overall, great for a beginner as well as upper level exercise enthusiasts.
Great watch pity about the heart rate monitor

Reviewer: Timothy S. Wilson,
I was given this watch as a birthday present a few weeks ago. The heart rate monitor seemed to work fine but once I tried to use it during and after a run it refused to measure my heart rate. I can understand it not working perhaps during a run but if standing staitonary I would expect the watch to read a heart rate.

Good idea but still room for improvement.
